A Word from the President

Celebrating 30 Years of Achievements 2006, the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women (JFBPW) celebrates its thirtieth anniversary. Looking back at what has been achieved & forward towards what yet needs to be achieved, made me & all of
us in the forum believe that we still have a long road to pave to enhance Jordanian women advancement and progression in economy, social contribution and economic decision making positions.

While thinking of that, we keep in mind the speech of Her Majesty Queen Rania, the honorary president of our Forum on the International Woman Day in which she said:
” We mustn’t celebrate achievements only, but we must vow to persist
on our work. We must send clear messages that economic, social and
political advancement, cements the advancement of women, and that no society or a state can progress in today’s world if half of its citizens
remains lagging behind.”

Following in the footsteps of Her Majesty and keeping our belief in the Jordanian businesswomen power of change, we will keep raising our voices,
visibility and solutions.
