Legislations and Advocacy Committee

         Purpose: To provide and expand the specialized legal counseling and awareness          service, and to advocate supportive legislations to business, professional and          employed women.
 
Duties

To provide legal counseling for business and    professional women regarding work and business    regulations.

To provide legal counseling for corporate members    regarding business laws i.e. registration, export,    import, general trade and services.

To contribute to the publications of the forum    through the submission of articles about the    activities of the committee and hot regulatory    issues affecting women on a quarterly bases.

To advocate for a supportive legislative reforms    for employed, professional and businesswomen.
To contribute to the positive change of laws and    regulations for the benefit of women

  Selection Criteria
Should have a relative profes- sional experience i.e. lawyer, judge or legal counselor.

Knowledge in related laws and regulations, i.e. business and trade, employment regulations and women rights.

Formulation

This committee has a special formulation of one committee member per 30 members from the GA in order to be capable to meet the needs of the members.
